I've had a 35mm 400 Fuji Superia film laying around my house just sitting for quite some months. After shooting the roll I went over to Walgreens to get it developed for a price of $10.00. The price is not that bad BUT what really disappointed me was the quality of the scans that you will receive at times. But for the price, I can't really complain too much. Anyways, I was really stoked to see the result of the shots. Since it was my first time shooting the Canon EOS Rebel (Film Edition). I also for the first time tried shooting off-camera flash with 35mm film which was quite challenging but I'm willing to learn.
Here's a portrait shot of my grandmother. Shot with a 50mm @ f/1.8
The colors of Fuji are not disappointing.

At the time that I've shot this, it was also the first day I've gotten my hands on the 17-40mm lens. This photo was captured at 17mm focal length. It has definitely become one of my favorite lenses.
Another test shot of the 17mm lens. Just to have an idea of how wide this lens can be.
Ben Solis and Matt Deckrow. I used two off-camera flashes for this shot that were sitting on the floor facing up towards them.
Here's another off-camera flash photo. The aperture for this was way too dark. I've figured if I would set it to f/22 during the day and set my flashes to almost full power I would be able to get the right lighting.
Here is another shot. Aperture still at f/22. I definitely did not get the shot I wanted to get but it was an awesome experience trying off-camera flash with 35mm film. Can't wait to continue practicing. Still need a lot more to learn!
