Powering Passion: Dave Bachinsky’s Creative Process

This blog post shares a behind-the-scenes look at my recent shoot with Dave Bachinsky and his passion for skateboarding, creativity, and sustainability. Through this series of images, I wanted to document not just the process, but the story behind his work.

Dave gives new life to old skateboards by recycling them into pieces of art and everyday objects that can actually be used. What once rolled through the streets is transformed into something meaningful, functional, and lasting.

For this project, Dave and I partnered with Nature’s Generator, an eco-friendly power solution that plays a big role in his creative process. Since his garage has no electricity, Dave relies on the Nature’s Generator to power his saw machine and tools, allowing him to bring his artwork to life from the comfort of his own home.

This collaboration highlights how creativity, sustainability, and smart technology can come together to support artists while making a positive impact on the world.
